NAME,
kaori kanzaki.
NICKNAME,
kaori accepts most nicknames with a smile and a curse or two under her breath; one such nickname is ‘kaoru,’ a masculine reading of her real name that she insisted on back in a tomboyish phase she went through in middle school (she will deny it ever happened if pressed). in most of her dealings as an illegal weapons trader, she goes by the androgynous name ‘hisoka.’

nineteen.
GENDER & PREFERENCE,
female. kaori isn’t too hung up on her sexuality if only because she is heterosexual to the point of rebounding: she likes all kinds of boys, of all kinds of ages and genders, and hell, reverse traps are fine too! if it’s cute, she’ll bang it, and she’s quite serious about the age thing, incidentally – it doesn’t matter if it’s a cradle or a grave, she’ll rob it… so hide your wife, hide your kids, and hide your husbands, guys. at the very least, she is not interested in anything feminine except for herself.
PROFESSION,
dealer in arms, ammunition, and drugs. already graduated. she has a day job - so to speak - owning a clothing store somewhere in paulownia mall, and runs her operation there.
PERSONALITY,
kaori kanzaki is self-centered as all hell.
of the long-held opinion that there is nothing greater or more important than the self, and that there is no use in trusting anyone besides those who think the same way, kaori is a dealer solely because it is in her nature: her relationships with other human beings have always been similar to someone's relationships with his cats. she considers it a privilege to be in the company of other people, and holds no hatred or superiority complex in regards to their companionship, but when it comes down to it, there is a marked difference between her and them that she can neither approach nor breach.
this is useful. this allows her to gain trust and betray it without a second's hesitation, to give people what they desire even if it's not what is immediately good for them; this allows her to live off her own self, and not have to rely on anyone else. it's not that she hates people - it's just that she doesn't form attachments to them. kaori loves, and it doesn't hurt; kaori betrays, and it doesn't ache.
outwardly, she is polite, ladylike, and charming - almost too much so, and only most of the time. a select few can irritate her to the point of breaking this facade, revealing the brash and arrogant true nature underneath. superficially, kaori is a queen - underneath that, a gruff bad boy, and somewhere deeper inside, a golden prince.

while physically fit and educated in several types of martial arts (aikido and kendo, from her tomboy days), kaori prefers to avoid combat if only because she doesn't have a choice in the matter: she has no persona. while she can deal with weaker shadows through skillful use of a wooden staff and her own self-discipline, she is forced to make a graceful exit whenever more powerful shadows rear their heads - or risk losing her life.
when having to incapacitate other people, she prefers to rely on more modern methods of battle - namely, drugs. she has no qualms about slipping things into other peoples' drinks if necessary, as it makes things much simpler for both parties - at least, in her opinion. she carries several pills containing flunitrazepam for this purpose.
in dark hour company, she acts as if she possesses a persona to save face - to the point of carrying an evoker and all that good stuff. for all her girlish fluttering, she does not want to be seen or treated as a damsel in distress.

ADDITIONAL NOTES,
kaori's parents are researchers working in america; as a result, she's financially well-supported but has lived alone since her first year of middle school. her work as a dealer began with classic school supplies at a price and gradually spiraled into things far deeper and more dangerous - eventually encompassing everything about tatsumi port island, the dark hour, and its clashing factions.
her earnings usually finance less-than-legal purchases that she can't make with her daddy's money.

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES,
while cu chulainn is quite versatile in terms of physical ability, and has access and resistance to a variety of electric attacks, he is weak to darkness-based assaults - as is, perhaps, befitting of the son of a god.

APPEARANCE,

INFORMATION,
an irish mythological hero, son of the god lugh. his name was originally setanta until he killed the guard dog of culann in self-defense, and, offering to take its place, inherited the name "cu chulainn," meaning "culann's hound." a fierce warrior, he was feared by many on the battlefield.
kaori cannot call him at will; she believes she is not in possession of a persona despite being conscious in the dark hour.

your preferences cracked me up. really. cradle robbing and traps... this is the first time i've seen it on an app, i'm afraid. actually, i don't know whether to be afraid or amused. also, love the fact that she's a "poser," 'cuz you certainly don't see that everyday.
