When first stepping into Gekkoukan High School students will meet with open space filled with shoe lockers, a snack stand, bulletin boards, a stairway, and two hallways diverting left and right. Straight ahead, before the staircase, stand two unique items inscribed with the school's motto, "Two in harmony surpasses on in perfection."
Another flight of stairs later an one will find themselves at the top floor containing all senior classrooms; the feeling is somewhat intimidating so not many freshman venture this far up.
The very top and last floor of the building the roof is a modest place occupied with a simple bench, railings, a fence, and flower pots. It is totally separate from the mysterious observatory which, to this day, is still unreachable.
Serving as the initial stage of this grand maze, the first block has fifteen floors to it. The scenery, in short, is Gekkoukan High in a butchered manner with missing walls, blood splatters, an eerie green glow, and weak shadows roaming about.
Hollowed in pathways caving at turns filled with uneven grounds and shadows lurking is the atmosphere of the second block. It takes on more of a dark purple theme without the glow but contains a good number of forty-eight floors for persona users to tackle.
A drastic contrast from the lower block it returns to a green theme with a dash of teal and blue. It's far more calmer, though intricate, with upside down staircases, broken clocks, and other confusing elements; this section contains fifty-one floors, a small increase from the previous.
Engrossed in yellow and gold walls and floors the fourth block, by far, has one of the brightest and oddest schemes. Resembling more of an ancient palace than a warped school it holds fifty floors with plenty of tough enemies.
Containing plenty of circles, a dark red and black scheme, along with neon colours do not let this funky, retro-like floor fool you as it dishes out forty-five floors worth of strong enemies. It's harder to notice these creatures moving around due to the constant darkness and blending with the surroundings; be careful.
The final stretch of Tartarus containing a whopping fifty-four floors with some of the toughest enemies in the whole tower. By far it is the most beautiful among the blocks with crystal fissures acting as support beams glimmering every now and then and decent straight paths; it has many near-empty floors way up containing treasures and surprises.
Blocks down from the school is a large entrance to Tatsumi Port Island's lone station it serves as a home for the trains and buses coming to and fro places as well as providing service from one side of the town to the next.
The only mall located in town it's a tall building with many windows and a simple entrance. Inside one can find a pharmacy, karaoke bar, night club, jewelery store, clothes shop, café, an arcade, and a fountain right in the middle. It's a cozy place not filled with many people so there isn't a need to rush your shopping.
Consisting of a train terminal and a little strip mall this place is where most teens prefer to hang. Located here is a quaint little burger joint, a ramen place, takoyaki stand, comic book store, a second-hand book store, and plenty of other little shops. Aside from this it is the closest place to the dorms students stay in.
Two or three blocks away from the main dorm and a good half hour away from the station one will be met with an open filled with a long line of stairs. Up above is a small shrine with an offering box for blessings and wishes, a small playground for children, benches, and provides a view of the dorms and other small buildings.
Located somewhere between the Iwatodai Station and Naganaki Shrine is a small district filled with homes, apartment complexes, tiny condos, and of course the dormitories. There are plenty of them all aligned or scattered around, one of them is notably known for housing Gekkoukan High School students.
