THE PLOTLINE
( our story. )

[justify]   the dark hour, a mysterious occurrence that took place every night at the stroke of midnight. an extra hour filled with darkness, nightmares, and brought misfortune to any and all conscious.

special individuals called “persona-users” were able to awaken the power known as ‘persona’ during this time and used it to wreak havoc amongst other users or destroy monsters known as shadows that prowled the streets. it was a race against time, to solve the mystery of the dark hour and cure the citizens of iwatodai; in the end, however, it was all for naught. the answers sought were nothing more than a madman’s pursuit to god-hood and the plunging of the world into nightly chaos.

a few years later tatsumi port island returned to its peaceful nature, that is, the dark hour ceased to exist. citizens moved forward, technology evolved, and the apocalyptic battle remained unknown -- judgment never came.

unfortunately, an eerie phenomenon soon surfaced: vegetable-like persons began to litter the island city, ranging from preteens to adults. a month later it was official -- apathy syndrome was back. of course, unknown to most this was the telltale sign of impending doom; a virus which would corrupt and destroy humanity from the inside out.

the dark hour had returned, tartarus rose, and the countdown to nyx’s descent had begun.

in response, SEES and STREGA began to rebuild themselves to continue their predecessor’s work: saving humanity and total annihilation. however, there were new players this time around -- nocturne, a new group seemingly out of nowhere with no known motives and peculiar individuals with disturbingly off presences and auras. just what is their purpose and connection to the dark hour’s rebirth? time is ticking and everything is about to take flight, one last time.
