PERSONALITY,
Genbu is a very honest and direct person, to a fault. He believes that people should be honest with one another, though he knows that the world will never be that simple and accepts it as such. He enjoys the company of others and makes friends easily, his friendly and warm demeanor often being difficult to ignore. Despite his honest and somewhat trusting nature he has learned that you can not be too trusting and keeps his feelings closely guarded.
He has his faults like any other, of course, as evident by his lecherous attitude with it comes to girls. Often you'll find him staring a bit too long, or catch him doing a 180 as a woman passes him. But it's not very often he acts on his impulses. He has self-control and a determination that comes natural. He knows he has to control himself, which makes it difficult to focus sometimes and may make him look like and idiot or a slacker. He's a good guy at heart, at least.

Genbu has been studying various martial arts since he was a child and, as such, is most comfortable fighting with his body alone. Due to his experience, he has become a formidable opponent in hand-to-hand combat and has been cautioned not to take his training lightly. Because of this, he never really fights an opponent with martial arts immediately and has, instead, taken to learning how to fight when armed.
He carries a wooden katana, also known as a bokken, with him when anticipating a fight. He has joined the kendo club and is moderately skilled with the weapon. When it comes to tactics, Genbu is physically fits and agile, relying on speed rather than strength to overwhelm his opponents.
