RYUU TACHIBANA
( Never go to bed angry, stay up and fight )NAME,Ryuunosuke Tachibana is his full name, a rather obnoxious and old-fashioned heirloom from good ol' Grandpa. It's a shame he kicked the bucket before Ryuu could complain about it.
NICKNAME,For very obvious reasons, he goes by Ryuu.
AGE,He is currently seventeen of age and was born on an unpleasant and rainy November 13th.
GENDER & PREFERENCE,Fits quite nicely under the masculine spectrum and effectively hates everyone regardless of gender.
PROFESSION,Second- year student at Gekkoukan High school. He also manages to hide the carefully guarded secret of his part-time work at the candy shop at the iwatodai strip mall.
PERSONALITY,Ryuu is often described by his peers as possessing two moods that he switches between without warning: apathetic and angry.
The two might seem to contradict each other, when in reality their simply the extremes his mood seems to be centered around the most. Forced into a life of being dragged around by the scruff of his collar by his doting parents, Ryuu never really had the chance in his childhood to find hobbies or flesh out his personality through friendships. All his internal growth has manifested itself internally. -and while he may not seem like it on the surface, Ryuu has -and always will be- an internal mess. Early on in his life, he came to realize that attachment of a positive nature equalled pain. If he latched onto to something or someone and enjoyed it, then it would most likely be taken away from him when - once again- he had to move. So, in order to avoid pain he limited himself to feeling only one of two things. Things in life received either an apathetic reaction (if it didn’t bother him) or an angry reaction (if it did bother him).
But, being human (-and a rather weak willed on at that), living up to his strict doctrine of a lack emotional attachments has been very difficult. While successfully avoiding attachment to people has been largely successful, completely avoiding it at all hasn’t been. Rather than extending his warped affections to people, he saves face by pouring his emotions into items; the most obvious of this being his car. Which he treats and speaks too as if it is a child rather than a pile of parts. -and while the strange looks sometimes make him agitated, his strong sense of personal pride would rather have him seen kissing up to a heap of scrap metal than a living, breathing person.
Despite his policy of avoiding people, there is still one area in which he finds himself interacting with people a lot. His normally neutrals stance to just about everything has made him one of the better mediators amongst his peers. Not because of any sense of sympathy or fairness, but because of his tendency to observe a situation and point out the “obvious stupidity” of the arguing parties as bluntly and honestly as possible. -and while no one actively seeks him out for this role he takes it because the escalated noise from arguments drives him up a wall.
Hey, we can’t all be saints. Self-interest is number one.
LIKES & DISLIKES,
✔ Automoblies in general, really.
✔ Extended periods of peace and quiet. You'd be surprised how difficult that is to find.
✔ Candy. But, if you want to get into specifics, toffee if his poison of choice. A fact that is as carefully guarded as his part-time job.
✔ Classical music. Whether is be western or eastern, Ryuu listens to all forms. He started listening to it as a way to avoid giving people rides by playing the most obnoxious Enka ballads he could find, but ended up legitimately liking them after a while.
✖ Even now he's grown older, the mere sight of a moving van makes him grumpy. Bad memories have a funny way of staying with him.
✖ People in general are not exactly Ryuu's favourite creatures.
✖ The idea of babysitting of his teamates doesn't bother him, it's the people he babysits that bother him as more often than not he finds them incredibly obnoxious.
✖ Theatre people. Ryuu had some...theatre related childhood trauma that is quite hilarious to recall more everyone in his family and chalkboard scratching-ly horrendous for Ryuu to remember. So, long story short, Ryuu and actors don't mix.
✖ The rising prices in gas. Even members of nihlistic organizations can't avoid carbon-taxes.

ALLIANCE,
Is ababysitterhealer for Strega.
WEAPON & TACTICS,
Ryuu preffers to hang around i nthe background and do what he does best: support. However, when he has to be engages in combat with his trusty pilum, which can be most easily described as a "amped up" javelin. The blade on his pilum is barbed and is designed to tear into it's vitims and cause bloody messes rather than clean cuts. Ryuu's fighting style is rather contrary to his weapon, though. He thinks critically about his fights and aims to disarm his victims rather than seriously maim or kill. The reason? He plays the collector. The actual torture is left to those in Strega with more sadistic interests.
PERSONA,
Ryuu's persona is Berith of the Hierophant Arcana. It has been awakened for nearly three years.
ADDITIONAL NOTES,
Ryuu’s past is an eventful one, but rather routine and unexciting. He was born and has lvied for his entire seventeen years of life as the only child of a military family. Childhood for Ryuu was an exceptionally difficult and uncertain time for him. Due to his Father’s job, the family was constantly moving, never allowing him to settle and find that sense of “home” that most other kids had the privilege of having. His parent were never outright cruel to him, but they were very strict. Everything he had had to be done so that the family image was protected. He was to be “quiet, polite and to never loose face.”, the perfect child to compliment their perfect, respected and honourable family. -and so in confusion and pain, he shut himself out from the world and allowed himself to be carried around by the scruff of his neck.
The first time Ryuu ever showed even a modicum of disobedience was also the first day he awakened to his persona, which in turn lead to his eventual spiral into the welcoming arms of Strega. The fateful day -or rather evening- was a chill one, which only served to make his situation worse. After getting into a fight with his mother over his grades she had struck him. In his confusion and rage, he decided that enough was enough and he would run away. But, fate had other plans for him that day. As he rounded the corner towards a nearby shopping mall, suddenly his world shifted into the waking nightmare that was the Dark Hour and he was attacked by shadows that lay in wait for just such an occasion. Luckily for him, his persona emerged and he was able to destroy the shadows. The minute the battle was finished, he vomited and then turned to walk home and hide under the covers. The idea of leaving home long abandoned.
After going through the Dark Hour a few more times, Ryuu’s terror began to ebb away and was replaced by a morbid curiosity. He began to look for information on the strange phenomenon anywhere and everywhere. It was through this search that he was able to find Strega over the internet. Immediately, their ideals captured his imagination and the uncertainty he was feeling disappeared. If Nyx was coming to bring about the end, then what use was their for him to worry about his future? When the time came to move again, Ryuu requested that he be allowed to stay in Iwatodai with the excuse that “he had fallen in love with the city”. His parents were hesitant, but eventually agreed to the idea.
Now he’s been apart of Strega for about two years and enjoying his first taste of freedom in his entire life.
