as with most delinquents she has received a plethora of nicknames and aliases to describe herself with ranging from primitive and insulting to clever and creative. the former outweighing the latter by a dozen or more. most of them have a strong focus on her fabricated reputation as a notorious hit-and-runner among the bōsōzoku community, rather than her less than juvenile background. these nicknames serve to further nourish the ridiculous claims and rumors surrounding her.

thanks to her brief encounters with violent running tribes, noodle-related apparitions and ridiculous visions, as well as other phenomena unrelated to the basics of common decency, she has been called everything. lowlife, scum of society, right-winger, you name it and chances are she's heard it before. people have referred to her as a bōsō throughout most of her existence and more affectionately a bōsōm, due to her somewhat underdeveloped chest. in addition, she has become something akin to a representative of her notorious consociates, thus earning her the title of a mascot among those in the know, which includes a small portion of her friends and even less of the general public.

though she is perceived as a prime example of a juvenile delinquent, haruko has little trouble seeing herself as anything but another blissful and ignorant young woman. her conservative parents intended her to be an obedient child with a cute, feminine exterior and for the longest time, she failed to act accordingly to those descriptions. though not as severe as before, she still suffers from the occasional lap of reason and proper behavior which causes her no end of troubles.

again, for the record, she has made a lot of questionable decisions in recent history. at the very least men stopped raising their eyebrows in confusion, much like women ceased using their shocked expressions and baffled stares to counter her nonsensical nature. The number of batted eyelashes also decreased over time, after it started to become a common knowledge that she's a heterosexual, but just uneasy about some of the more lovey-dovey aspects of love and most relationships.

in due time, her interaction with the illegal and risque had shown her the strange-side of living among troubled youths and rebels without a cause or purpose. not that her duties as a student in her second year weren't perplexing enough. as such, her brand of trade within her circle of less than respectable acquaintances was acting as a mascot to a once notorious, but now disbanded motorcycle gang, as well as representing a much more mundane food delivery service in the local area.

though never integrated into the main ranks of the aforementioned club, she is still considered a full-fledged biker among the community and in the public eye because of her lenghty, overtly-dramatized contact with these hoodlums.

her falling-in with the rag-tag group known as sees was more of an accident than a conscious decision, however. It's still unclear whenever or not she trusts the protagonistic and righteous vibe of their organization. Due to her extensive talent for damage control and support tactics, she has been, unceremoniously, forced into her position.

PERSONALITY,

she is a delinquent-in-distress, which says a lot about her.

incredibly sarcastic and by necessity fairly violent in some of her actions. one could sum her up as quirky, in every respect. you know those people who seem like they can do anything and know a lot more than they should, yet nobody questions it? well, that’s basically her, down to the question, 'y'? now, she doesn't know everything and I’m certain she can’t do everything, but don’t try and tell her that. she absolutely detests any form of criticism and blows everything out of proportion, to the point, in which, she generally makes up excuses to cover for whatever it is she can’t do before she even does anything. 'what’s that? I couldn’t level that building to the ground with my sheer awesome? pft, I just didn’t feel like it. I could totally do it next time.'

she’s selfish and even that is an understatement. but actually, is a lot less disrespectful in person, than she is in the various rumors concerning her. if you get on her bad side you better get back on her good one as soon as possible. that is, if you can, because there is no room for mistakes considering her stubborn nature. though she is not one to act out hits on people or vandalize the property of those that have agitated her, she will however demand some form of compensation for whatever it is you have done wrong.

despite being materialistic over idealistic, she is not all bad, because if you aren't doing anything stupid, getting on her nerves or someone she detests, then she can usually be someone to get along with. so much that even her apparent ruthlessness turns out to be a form of selfless selfishness, that is, if she was forced to choose between saving an entire world full of innocent people, and just one of the few people she has come to care about, she would instantly go for the latter without even a second of hesitation. she’s protective of those who haven’t made themselves her enemy. it’s just a hard thing to pull off, because you will be fearing for your personal space, sooner or later as you decide to sue her for harassment. it might seem like the only thing that can make her smile is getting a restraining order filed, however that’s not the case, as she has at least some interests, hobbies and other preferences, most of which she keeps to herself. other then that there is very little that pleases her unless it specifically involves motorcycles, that always gets her into a good mood.

it’s pretty obvious that she wouldn’t think of herself as stubborn or posh, especially being raised by uptight parents. though, occasionally she can be well spoken and well mannered, or even act educated. however, haruko doesn’t have the typically calm or calculating bearing for that. she’s very quick and spontaneous about things, which is a direct result of her own nervous demeanor. always averting her eyes from the subject at hand, it has become something of a defining trait of hers. it doesn’t help that everything she has ever done was either directly or indirectly the result of her anxiety flaring up, extending to the overall perspective on her life and thoughts.

now focusing on her function as sees' support unit, it is safe to say that she possesses a variety of methods for dispatching minor enemies and threats. Her primary weapons are a variety of stab weapons, which include somewhat threatening knives and other sharp instruments. though it seems circumstances breed desperate and unusual solutions, as she's particularly fond of her chopsticks, making sure to have them on her person whenever outside of familiar territory. besides having a softspot for takeout, she has no qualms in jabbing people with her utensils. as of yet, she has not absolved any formal combat training after joining the organization. although she has been witnessed to have enough strength and cunning to disarm at least two dull-witted attackers at once.

considering her less than pragmatic nature in battle and lack of determination to win, she isn't seen as much of a threat to shadows, or ordinary humans for that matter. her movements have been described as violent and not the least bit restrained. passive onlookers have noted her avoidance towards larger groups of enemies in favor of picking off individual targets or running to the aide of her fellow combatants instead. her competence when acting in a team is however considered a prime example of an unlikely, but very unique talent.

# her previously established reputation has been at a decline in recent months which has made her out to be a laughing stock and a fake. it's a seldom discussed issue, which she approaches in a very dismissive manner, due to the amount of embarrassment and actual frustration that it brings her.

# according to various rumors, she has, in the past, been responsible for numerous cases of hit-and-run, theft, property damage and the cause for a lot of unwanted noise. a specific claim involves a minor celebrity, known under the pseudonym 'noir', being targeted for a full month, which forced the artist to leave for the mainland and cancel a benefit tour for an unknown reasons. it has caused a brief stir in the local media and has since been known as an in-joke among the internet community of tatsumi port. fans are still bitter about the whole deal.

uke mochi is there to lend a noodly appendage, though not in a literal sense. it manages to excel in aiding against status effects and all matter of ailments, as well as boosting the strenght of her comrades in charge of dealing the actual damage. it is important to mention that it's supportive capabilities do not always differentiate between herself and her allies. their lack of focus, causes a lot of her actions to be self-preserving, rather than supportive.

however, it does not stop attacks from causing damage to her, it is especially weak towards ice and darkness attacks. but as far as fighting beyond the main elements is concerned, the persona has little problems when resisting physical beatings, absorbing the fire around it and can stand it's ground in most other situations. it's main focus is fire damage with a hint of pierce damage at the cost of it's host's health.

SKILL SET,

shortcut to victory - used to detect an enemy's stats, weak points, and any attacks or skill it may use. it has the downside of decreasing the user's defenses for a brief period of time while also increasing one ally's attack for the same amount of time.

INFORMATION,

uke mochi (保食神) is a goddess of food in the shinto religion of japan. when uke mochi was visited by tsukuyomi she prepared a feast by facing the ocean and spitting out a fish, then she faced the forest and bountiful game spewed out of her anus, finally turning to a rice paddy she coughed up a bowl of rice. tsukuyomi was so disgusted he killed her. even her dead body produced food: millet, rice, and beans sprang forth. her eyebrows even became silkworms.

also it's a thinly veiled attempted at making a flying spaghetti monster.
