He does actually care, so don't think that just because he's silent it means he's a cold person. I do think that close friends actually might hear him utter a few words though they'd be meaningful. He's very thoughtful and considers friends to be very valuable and precious to him because its hard to get past the mental walls he puts up to avoid such things. I'd love for him to have some casual friends, and a few close friends. awright, we said we'd plot, and so here i am!

like we discussed, kaori hits on everyone, and noboru will probably be no exception! they're the same age, so i find it pretty reasonable to think that they both attended gekkoukan together, were probably in the same homeroom or something like that. kaori would have passed out of her reverse trap phase by then, so he might or might not know about that (unless he heard people still calling her 'kaoru-senpai' lmao) but on the whole i'm sure their high school relationship was just kinda... 'quiet guy in the corner, ridiculously persistent girl hitting on him' -- !!

and so this is the reason that she still kinda visits his college dorm once in a while, because she skipped university to open her own store (who has time to study environmental physics when there are weapons to be repaired and blouses to be sold?) and she can close accidine whenever the hell she wants because hey, she's the owner. SO YEAH, she probably sneaks in uninvited and flits around while he's trying to do homework and does stupid things like evaluate his wardrobe choices... and make passing remarks about how he's cute, but you know. maaaybe she's heard him say a few words or so, depending on how their personalities mesh (or if he finds her constant chattering amusing or annoying, hahaha)

so she'd be somewhere in the 'friends/one-sided crushes' section, i think!

on more serious notes, i think it'd be totally awesome if at some point they met up in the dark hour while she's trying to protect herself from shadows and he finds out that she can't summon her persona, because he probably wouldn't let it slip, or tell anyone, so that'd be a great way to make that present without having everyone aware of it! and i guess they could cover for each other since they're both neutral and unattached and whatnot, form an awesome shadow-fighting duo or something. NOT THAT SHE WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL... but she can survive as long as she doesn't go into tartarus lololol. maybe she could find a good way to protect him from nocturne somehowww.

anddd.... i think that exhausts all my ideas for this relationship dynamic, hahaha. tell me if there's anything you'd rather change/expand upon/get rid of!
