One cannot simply summarize Alexis in a few words. The girl is a chaotic tempest, but a fine example of the potential humanity has for positivity in the face of abnormality. From the get go, she was struck with the realization that she was neither a boy nor a girl. Where most probably would have wondered what was so wrong, Alexis accepted it, understood it, and went about on her merry way, acting the role of a cheerful young girl.
And that carried through. Now, she's a person who's exceedingly confident and capable of standing up for herself if the need ever arises. While not ashamed of her body's quirks, she doesn't go out of the way to point out her unique features, both for the sake of a simple school life and to keep things amiable with her peers. If push came to shove, however, she would not deny her traits, and she'd take a rather simple approach to it- “If you don't like me for what I am, don't bother me, then.” She's typically non-confrontational, but she'll gladly step up when necessary for herself or friends. She has been known to step up for bullied kids in the past, as well.
She's a friendly girl, when you get right down to it. If she had to be quiet for an extended period of time with no justification- that is, classes- then she would likely explode. She's quick to talk to strangers, though trust can sometimes be withstanding (she's friendly, not idiotic), and she won't hesitate to try drawing in a wallflower or someone excluded by the group at large to her little social circle. Few people are among what she considers “close” friends, but the ones that are know, without a doubt, that she's one of the most dependable people in the word. The ones outside that immediate circle are numerous and vary greatly from one to the next, but that's just a sign of how accepting and non-judgmental Alexis can be. Just about the only time the girl refuses to accept another person is when their quirks or personality is directly harmful- either to themselves or others.
Really and truly, Alexis just likes to have fun. Fun is enjoyable. And the more people there are having fun, the more fun it is- right? She does what she can to help others when their problem is acceptance. She understands that not everybody can just shrug off some douchebag's random judgment, so she'll help when and how she can. She lives in the present for the most part, not really bothering to worry about the future. That could be considered short-sightedness on her part, but there's plenty she knows she can't do in the future. Why worry about the inevitable when you can enjoy the present?
Her friendly and positive nature are one factor, but her nearly androgynous appearance and ability to dress in girl or boy clothes rather well, and well-rounded skill set make her somewhat charismatic. If not that, then she's endearing in that way that's almost universally preserved for children- innocently accepting of others, genuinely wishing for the best to come, and just looking to have fun with friends. She's even got the childish teasing down-pat. Joke-flirting too, but that's typically with closer friends.
Despite the fact that she doesn't have much hope for the future in terms of a happy, fairy tale ending, nor does she expect to have children of her own, Alexis is a huge romantic. The thought of someone- not one of her close friends, since they don't count- meeting her, accepting her for who and what she is, and wanting to be with her- not sexually, but romantically- sets her heart aflutter just as much as the next giddy schoolgirl. And while she does tease or flirt with others, she's far from promiscuous. She's a very conservative girl when it comes to relationships. More than that, if she ever did get in a relationship, she'd be faithful and protective, probably a little clingy and a bit more girly than normal as well.
On those rare occasions that someone manages to make Alexis angry, there's typically some violence or hatred on the offending side. See, Alexis is hard to anger. Typically, the single sure-fire way is to hurt or harass her friends or family. “An eye for an eye” is a saying she holds close to her heart for when these occasions pop up, but rather than making it an even exchange, Alexis always makes sure to exact a revenge that instills a single lesson in their victim- don't provoke Alexis, or else. While she's sweet, friendly, and happy most of the time, she has absolutely no qualms with discarding civility, morality, or even her humanity if it meant properly paying back someone's dues.
Alexis is a chaotic ball of life. She's noisy and playful. She's a tomboy of the greatest extent with a maiden's heart. She's unique in her own right, accepts it, and accepts others for their quirks. She loves those around her and wants nothing but the best for them, wishing harm only on those that would ruin her otherwise perfect lifestyle. She lives in the way she considers natural.

Alexis is a hand-to-hand specialist, not so much that she's an assassin or anything, but she has plenty of different moves due to exposure to martial arts practitioners. Her mother was a gang leader in her youth, and had a reputation for being durn-near invincible when fists flew. Her father was a Green Beret that learned Krav Maga, as well as a number of other styles for quick suppression, disarming, and otherwise neutralizing enemy troops. Her older sister is an MMA practitioner that helps out in the mother's gym. She specializes in defensive offense and evasive offense. Her brother is a boxer that specializes in quick-victory, heavy-hitting blows.
Now, consider that each of those family members is protective of Alexis, and that they taught her how to defend herself, and you see that, though she isn't formally trained or enlisted in any discipline, she has a respectable degree of skill in hand-to-hand.

ADDITIONAL NOTES,
One day, the stars aligned, and a terror occurred. This was not the rising of R'lyeh and, by extension, C'thulhu, but, instead, a certain young beauty who led a rough group of gangsters and a dashing ex-squad leader of a Green Beret team came together in holy matrimony. If left as it was, that would have been a perfectly fine arrangement. It didn't remain as it was, however. Seasons expired, and they had their first child, Samantha Ezra Reinschild. She was a pretty little angel, followed one year later by the firstborn male of the family, Rudolf Cohen Reinschild. Years passed, and the father's descent into the madness of mythos occurred. Their love came to fruition once more, and the father's devotion to chaos was answered! Alexis was born, and, to commemorate the chaos that was her body, her middle name was declared “Sathoth”, a spin of “Sothoth”.
Oh. And then, three years later, they had another boy. He was named Christopher Nyarly Reinschild. But he's not the protagonist, so we'll forget about him now.
Alexis was not a normal girl. In fact, by biological terminology, she really was not a girl at all when technicalities were considered. She was different from others, and her family did not make the mistake of hiding this information from her. Once she could sit down and really understand, the parents clearly told her that she was neither a boy nor a girl. It did not matter to them- they loved her all the same, they just didn't want her to suffer ostracism from her peers. At first, the girl was confused. Then disappointed. But, within a day or two, she decided that it was fine. She was special in her own little way, but it was best to keep that hidden. Only really close friends, she decided, would ever learn about her secret.
Funnily enough, it didn't take too long for such friends to appear. The first was a Japanese student named Yuriko. Her parents had decided to move to the states. At first, she was a shy little wallflower. This, combined with her skin tone, which differed from the rest of the class, made her the prime target of a snobby bully-upstart. Didn't take long at all for the bully to be planted on his face by a punch-punch-kick-elbow combination. Alexis got suspended, sure, but she ended Yuriko's bullying, got the first of three great friends, and became a sort of knight all in one go. After that, Yuriko was always around Alexis. The girl never became anymore capable to fend for herself, but Alexis was always there for her if something bad happened- the dependency still hasn't proved counterproductive to this day.
The next year, second grade, the two managed to stay in the same class together, but their new classmates were all alien to them. But Alexis did not have to be a knight in that class. There was only one case of animosity, and it was pretty much localized between two kids. One, a somewhat tall boy with anger issues, the other an overly-refined girl with a bit of a superiority complex. Now, the two might've had their issues, but all their frustrations were launched at each other- nobody else was affected, outside of the people distracted during classes on occasion. But Alexis? Alexis couldn't deal with it. Not because of the distraction, but because she was annoyed that the two couldn't get along. With an application of force that shocked both the brats, she managed to shut the two of them up while they were at the peak of their fury.
She also durn near gave the both of them a concussion, but that's another story.
So thus the four musketeers came together gloriously. After some friction. And drama. And other stuff that doesn't belong here. The boy, Johnny, was actually the son of the leader of a small organized crime group in the city. The girl, Maria, was the daughter of the CEO of a software firm. Their fights had been based on the behind-the-scenes fight between their respective fathers. With Alexis as a common point between them, though, the kids got along, which, over time, led to the businesses getting along.
Years passed. Kids grew. Things changed. Yuriko's parents died in an accident when an arsonist set the house aflame. Yuriko survived, but not without some extensive burning. Because the rest of her family was in Japan, and not on good terms with her parents, Yuriko was semi-officially adopted into the Reinschild family. The wallflower became even more dependent on Alexis than before, coming to share the same room as her. Alexis being a hermaphrodite, by that point, was known by the three, so there was no stress in trying to hide her body.
Many shenanigans occurred over the years! Life was a roller coaster, and Alexis made sure it had plenty of exciting bumps to divert attention from the nasty twists and turns. At the present, Alexis is seventeen. Before entering the eleventh grade, Yuriko's extended family got into contact with her and the Reinschild's. The grandmother on the mother's side was getting ready to kick the bucket- being terminally ill and all that jazz- so they reasoned that her wanting to see her grandchild before passing was a legitimate reason to put aside their displeasure with the long-dead parents. Yuriko, however, refused to go- at least, she refused to go alone. Alexis, as always, stepped in like a knight in shining armor. She proposed that she could go with her, continue classes over there for a year, immerse herself in the culture, and broaden her horizons. Her mother liked the idea. Her father. . . ? Well, he said some crazy stuff, being a C'thulhu worshiper, but he was also in approval of the motion, after thinking on it for a bit.
So, to the exact present day, that's why Alexis is in Japan and at Gekkoukan.
Now, in regards to her being a Persona user, due to jetlag being a total witch and keeping its grasp on her pretty tightly, Alexis often took late night strolls to try to relax and get sleepy- you know, at night, instead of day. Thing is, when a giant tower sprouts out of the ground where your school was, and little black sentient squigglies run around, trying to nibble or bad-touch you, you just can't relax too much. Alexis couldn't. It was just a little stressful! So stressful, that the maiden saw a beautiful warrior-woman appear and blow the squigglies away, quite literally- there was a gust of wind that was pretty badass.
And that's why Alexis has a Persona now!
-Fun/Informational Facts-
Alexis is a complete hermaphrodite. In other words, she has had no surgery to remove one set or the other- everything is all natural. While she does have both sexual organs (exterior) and they function correctly, she is sterile in that she can neither impregnate or become pregnant.
Everyone in Alexis's family, minus her and her younger brother, has some kind of formal or learned fighting skill. Her mother was a gang leader that taught herself hand-to-hand and general combat skills with blunt or sharp weapons. Her father was in the Green Berets. He was a durn good shot, which was a given, but he was skilled in disarming opponents, especially those with guns, when unarmed. His dominant specialty was Krav Maga-based skills, but there are several other styles all mixed in. Samantha is a proper Mixed Martial Arts practitioner. God only knows what she'll throw out there in a fight. And Rudolf is a boxer. All these protective family members have passed down parts of their own training to both her and Christopher. You'd be shocked at how effective it is.
Alexis's family is unique, to say the least. Her mother was a gang leader that turned into the penultimate housemother- a great cook, maternal as all hell, and exceedingly protective of her family. She also owns a gym with some nice equipment- everything is membership-based, though. Her father was the leader of a Green Beret squad. After retiring and sticking to less dangerous things for an income, he became interested in H. P. Lovecraft's works, eventually becoming a C'thulhu worshiper. This led to Alexis and Christopher getting unique middle names. It's currently uncertain if this is just a pastime for him, or if it truly is his religion.
Samantha is an MMA practitioner, and she also works at the mother's gym. She went to college, but dropped out. She also dangerously protective and obsessive over the family. The term for her is “yandere”, but she's only murderous of those that she doesn't consider “worthy” of being near the family. Rudolf is a boxer. He's also a glutton that went to college for culinary arts. Despite his love of food and overeating, he's actually lean and muscular. Finally, the last sibling, Christopher, is an honest-to-God crossdresser that attempts to do so whenever he can. He's entirely straight, but he feels most comfortable when “looking cute”. Nobody in the household argues with him. Also, he prefers going by “Chris” or “Nyarly” when dressed up, since either is a bit more feminine than “Christopher”. It's because of this habit that Rudolf occasionally jokes (with good intentions) that he's the only boy of the family.
Now that she's in Japan, Alexis has gone out of her way to play up her androgyny. She'd been fairly mid-ground back home, but she didn't bother binding her breasts or anything. Now that she's where there seems to be an appeal- if anime is anything to go by- for girls that pass as princes, she's taken special care to take care in binding her chest, swapping things up on occasion to dress as a boy.
Alexis stands at a good 5'4. Easily enough to stand out among girls in Japan. Ironically, she's also the shortest in her household. With her parents and older brother all 6'2 or taller, her older sister standing at 6'1, and her younger brother standing at 5'6, she has a small Napolean complex.
Contrary to her playful and flirty demeanor, Alexis has a maiden's heart. She reads romance novels, shoujo manga, and all other sorts of things that one would not expect her to. More than that, she's easily embarrassed when this is revealed to people outside of her inner circle.
After a chaotic ride, in which Alexis, Yuriko, Maria, and Johnny all rode a library book cart down a hill and into traffic during rush hour, Alexis has coined the term “Excelsior” as a sort of battle or rallying cry. This was partially because she was dozing off while reading Longfellow's poem during literature.
Despite her playful and generally joking attitude, Alexis is actually pretty smart. Her grades may not show it, but she does study- though much of her extracurricular studies happen to not-be-on-tests, which sometimes hampers their immediate payoffs.
Due to being around Yuriko a great deal, Alexis got the girl to teach her Japanese. This process greatly sped up after the two shared the same room. Because of this, while some finer Japanese-specific or cultural jokes will likely fly over her head, she can handle conversational, everyday Japanese well enough to get around.

APPEARANCE,
Freya's appearance is about as could be expected, going by mythology. Her hair is a golden blonde, long despite being tied up and hidden underneath a winged helmet. The helmet itself is a shade of crimson, while the small ornate wings are a pure white, extending in opposite directions by about three inches. Her eyes, though somewhat hidden in the shade of her helmet, are a bright, clear blue. What skin that can be seen is clear and pale, though most is covered by a dress-like armor in the same shade of crimson as her helmet.
INFORMATION,
Freya is the Norse goddess of fertility and love, and was considered the most beautiful of the goddesses. She was prayed to for matters of love and child-bearing. While she was a goddess of love and life, she was also a deity of war and death, as half of the fallen warriors ended up with her- the other half with Odin in Valhalla.
The irony of Alexis having Freya is that this goddess is of fertility, among all the other things. This, when considering that Alexis is fertile, unable to sire or give birth, is a constant reminder to the girl of what she simply cannot have.
