There was no room for argument to Ringo in this department. Considering that shadows can occasionally crawl outside of their nest, Tartarus and attack people, no doubt that without a persona, death is almost certainly a possibility. Ringo watched as cellphone blacked out as the world became green and bloody. He closed the phone seeing as how electronics didn't work in the dark hour. He picked up his chokuto and headed on outside.
Ringo found himself at Port Island Station. It was usually a popular spot for the theater and flower shop however many have told him the back alley area is often dangerous. Considering the supernatural battles Ringo himself fights he'd imagine that they'd be dangerous for the normal person. Another thing of note was the beautiful fountain...however during the dark hour, the fountain was blood. He didn't know why exactly the dark hour would turn water into blood...then again this odd hour held many mysteries.
He walked down the steps but as he did he heard the sound of gargling flesh. Shadows usually made that grotesque sound as they moved. Ringo started to move to kill it. The shadow itself was just a black slime creature with a mask, however previous experience has told him that it was just their initial form until they are in combat.
Ringo followed it to the back alleys of the station. Ringo noticed three things. Two shadows and what appeared to be a person. The shadows were twitching and soon started to reform. Soon they form into rather large shadows. They resembled eagles. He right away started to move.
Shadows might be strange creatures, but they have weak points. Weak points Ringo can exploit even when he doesn't have his persona. Before one of the eagle shadows can take flight, Ringo jumped on the back of one and stabbed it in the back before making another stab on its skull. The eagle Ringo stood on dissipated but with that movement, it allowed the other eagle to start flapping its wings. A burst of wind was launched at Ringo however his own persona made it so the strike barely hurt him. All it really did was ruffle his school uniform but Ringo barely felt the attack. He ran up to the eagle and sliced in half before it could fly out of his reach. He took a deep breathe and placed the blade away.
"Are you ok..." Ringo's eyes shot wide open. He closed his eyes and rubbed them for a moment. This person, this girl, she is a spitting image of Ai. Granted, they're differences such as expression and Ai's hair was slightly darker but none the less they look similar to the point of discomfort for Ringo. He cleared his throat. "Are you okay?"

The night had taken a turn for the odd. For the first time since her arrival in Tatsumi Port Island, Kimiko had departed her decorated abode for the sake of strolling about the area at night. It was a whim. She had no reason to do so, nor did she have anything in particular to gain. Her gait had been lethargic. The shift from normality to the Dark Hour had gone mostly unnoticed until her gaze fell to the ground. For a time, she'd been moving without bothering to observe a thing, which had led to the late realization that something was wrong. Must've been an effect of the various pills she'd been popping earlier, she decided. Everything had a slightly greenish tint, and blood appeared in the oddest of places. Truly, it was an odd turn of events.
More than that, the odder thing was that the air was still. The presence of people had all but disappeared. What she saw in place of people, though, were coffins. Yes, she was most definitely tripping. Something she took must have finally caused a psychedelic chain reaction within her. After all, why would the shadows be squirming and taking shape and moving and crawling towards her? High or not, Kimiko was not particularly interested in letting herself feel the constructed sensations of slimy shadow-masses rubbing and clinging to her. That sort of thing seriously did not turn her on.
Her stroll had changed from a walk to a full-run as she avoided the touchy-touchy grasps of icky-looking, glowing-eyed shadows. Most lost her. A couple kept up with her, however. She was a bit clumsy after not exercising. Stiff, and nowhere near as graceful as she would have been months ago, she drew a short blade that had been hidden in her belt-loops. Drawing it, whirling, and taking a stance all in one motion, she finally put the mass of gooey muscle in her cranial cavity to use. If one were to assume that being high translated all organic motion into the hallucinations she was having, then there was no way that her current “opponents” were human. They moved too erratically, too desperately, to be normal people. Their approach hadn't even slowed, and they showed no signs of hesitation, when the knife was drawn. Waiting, she shifted to the side, flowing alongside one of the attackers as she lowered her blade, slicing along its side.
. . . or so it should have been. The resistance she felt in that motion, as well as the sudden lightness in her hands, added up to a somewhat problematic. She did not even have to look to be sure. This thing was somehow resilient enough that her blade broke. Rather than wasting the time to visually confirm her conclusion, she dropped the blade, avoided the second attacker's attempt at striking her, and dove into a nearby alley. High, she might have been, but she could not deduce just what it was that was chasing her if the hallucinations were really other things. Mechs certainly didn't exist yet, even in Japan, and it's not like a couple would chase after a girl who had no real government ties.
Within minutes, she had lost the annoyances, finding herself in another area she'd never really bothered to get familiar with. Before long, she was in dead-end cul-de-sac sort of neighborhood by a station. The squelching sounds from before had returned, and two black masses had appeared behind her. The were beginning to form. She was unarmed. She could avoid them, like the last ones, but it then seemed like that course of action was no longer necessary. A boy, couldn't even be in his twenties yet, appeared, apparently trying to act the part of a hero. For some reason, his blade did not break when it was driven into what seemed to be a bird. As the engagement with the second bird-like thing unfolded, Kimiko began to think that there truly was something odd going on. The wind-burst from the bird's wings actually interacted with the boy's form. It could not be entirely fake, so perhaps she was not high? It would be odd for pills to suddenly have that effect, she decided.
The second was slain, and the boy looked to her, asking a question before choking it on a little. The princess of the Dragons just stared at him, unimpressed, but curious about how he killed the shadowy beings. She registered the question. Frankly, she was hungry. But this boy would not understand her circumstances. Her expression was calm. Disinterested. She showed neither fear nor panic. She was confused, but she knew better than to show it. Slowly, she looked away, opening her mouth slightly to speak before pursing her lips together instead.
“What you just did is considered cruelty to animals, you know.” She calmly noted, despite their difference in position. He was armed. She had nothing at the moment. But she could tell he was not going to suddenly flail about with that blade. It was safe. “When growing up, you were the sort of child that enjoyed stepping on little hamsters, listening to them squeak as you crushed them, weren't you? You needn't say a thing. Your expression is equally irrelevant. The way you went about killing those birds is proof enough of your heart's truest desires.” She looked to the boy, as expressionless as before. It might have been a joke, but her lips certainly did not show it. More than that, she focused her stare on him like a scientist did a test subject.
“There'll be no kisses from this princess, O hero.” She smiled slightly, feeling the urge to tease, to torture him. She had not done it in so long it slipped out of her without her thinking to stop it. The boy did, in fact, save a princess. She was not in another castle. There was no kiss or cake to be had, however. This boy saved a princess, but he saved princess of the Dragons, a dangerously-thorned rose that had been cultivated in an environment of regal violence and refined destruction. “Admittedly, I'm fine.” She finally answered him, her stomach churning loudly, like a desperate animal. She hadn't eaten and kept food down in a while. Nutrient supplements only went so far.
“Reasonably fine.” She clarified after a moment. Notes: Got a slight bit into it, so it's pretty long.

She doesn't at all seemed shocked of this place, the dark hour, or the fact that the eagles were slime creatures before their transformation.
“There'll be no kisses from this princess, O hero.” Ringo stared at the girl. It wasn't like he was doing it expecting a kiss anyway. Her smile though. The more he looked at the girl the more discomforted he was getting. “Admittedly, I'm fine.” Soon he heard the sound of a stomach growling. Ringo ate plenty so it wasn't him. “Reasonably fine.”
"T-those were not animals. They're called Shadows." Ringo explained. "More importantly, we need to get you somewhere safe. I can also make you some food once we're safe." Ringo has to assure the girl will be safe. "I'm Shiro Ringo." Ringo might as well give her name, build a sense of trust and security.

He did not explode, nor did he panic too badly when he finally had the chance to respond. That was okay in and of itself. He also showed that he knew things about what was going on- beyond simply playing the role of a hero. That meant she could get some information out of him. It had been a while since she played the game of information, but this situation directly affected her, and though she was still in a slump, dying was her choice, not the world's. She would have no assistance if she decided she wanted to die. Safe was subjective, and wherever the boy wanted to take her was likely not as safe as her own home- shotguns by your bedside were greatly assuring, after all. But he had made his offer. She refused to let him back out of that.
“You're offering protection and food. I'm going to hold you to that. A man needs to take responsibility for his actions, for his words. I hope you're capable of just that.” Her words were not necessarily cold, but they were neither warm nor welcoming, either. She doubted he could not be trusted, but the little hero-boy would one day help someone that would gladly show their blade or bullet into his little back if he gave them the chance. And he would. Probably twice.
“Tokisaka Kimiko.” She gave her name, crossing her arms lightly across her chest. “I suppose it would be a pleasure to make your acquaintance, if it was not for the fact our surroundings are less than pleasurable. Where do you suggest you take me, then?” Even if she figured he was trustworthy, there was no reason to show him her home. Actually, that was a two-sided bad idea. He did not need to know where she lived, and there was no guarantee he would not snoop around, which meant the traps would likely take an arm or a leg off. Or his head.
“Also, I suggest that you have ingredients prepared to make something cold, soft, and moist. I do intend to hold you to everything you just offered, after all. If what you have prepared does not meet those three criteria, your standing as a man will be irreversibly shaken in my view.” Her smile was more evident. It was an amused smile that really did not leave any doubt as to her words. She was going to hound him until she found something better to do. He was as much a toy as he was prey. Either way, something told her that she would not be the only one to enjoy it.

I'm going to hold you to that. A man needs to take responsibility for his actions, for his words. I hope you're capable of just that.” Ringo nodded. He was an average cook in his opinion. Something he learned in the two years he has lived in the dorms and fought along SEES. Being able to take care of himself was important. He didn't want to trouble enough people as it is.
“Tokisaka Kimiko.” The girl introduced herself. “I suppose it would be a pleasure to make your acquaintance, if it was not for the fact our surroundings are less than pleasurable. Where do you suggest you take me, then?” Ringo was sure that the dorms would be the safest place for now. He can not exactly bring her home after all.
"One of the Gekkoukan High dorms." He'll have to explain SEES to her as well as the Dark hour and numerous other things. He can't exactly demonstrate the power of persona without risks however...
“Also, I suggest that you have ingredients prepared to make something cold, soft, and moist. I do intend to hold you to everything you just offered, after all. If what you have prepared does not meet those three criteria, your standing as a man will be irreversibly shaken in my view.” Ringo wondered exactly why but he is not in a position to be questioning at the moment. Everyone has their own situations...though the last bit was a bit harsh in Ringo's opinion.
"Okay then..." Ringo then looked around. No shadows at the moment. He looked back at Kimiko. "Let's get going Tokisaka-san." Ringo said with a smile as he then started to walk, occasionally looking back to make sure she was behind him. He still couldn't get over it...
...she looks so much like her. In fact, Ringo is partially thankful she doesn't have the same personality otherwise he'd accidentally call her 'Ai' and considering what he can deduce from her personality so far, that's not exactly something he should do.
"If I may ask, what were you doing out here?" This area of the station wasn't visited often. In fact, many considered the area shady is where delinquents usually went....though he can't exactly imagine the girl before him being one personally.

Shiro Ringo asked a fairly reasonable question. Or it would be reasonable at any other time of the day. When asking a stranger what they were doing in a strange place while an obviously strange occurrence was in the middle of unfolding, however, it would only be fair if she gave the boy a fairly strange response, according to the situation. Slowly, her neck turned as she walked, allowing her gaze to settle on the boy, focusing in much the same way that a stalker or pervert honed and locked their sense of sight on their prey.
“Oh, you know. The normal thing for a romantic teenage maiden. Midnight strolls. Taking in the sights of a new place. Enjoying the cool breeze on my skin. Complimenting the paint-like splotches of blood-like liquid on everything, like they're all abstract pieces of art. Oh, and, of course, gallivanting around while playing tag with squiggly, oily black creatures- called Shadows, apparently. You know. Nothing odd. Nothing out of the ordinary. I mean, there's really nothing unusual I could have been doing, right?”
Her tone had started light enough, but, as she spoke, she may as well have been frothing at the mouth with fizzy, semi-liquid sarcasm, like a dog with sarcasm-rabies. Her expression was dull. She did not show annoyance, but her expression was also lacking amusement. Something about the boy just irked her. Badly.
“Of course, they might have been coming onto me. I can't say for sure, since I don't speak pecker or squelch. Maybe I should fix that someday, followed soon after by German.” Her eyes should have had piercing effects. Maybe she could have drilled a hole into Ringo's head and peered at the innards of his cranial cavity. Maybe she'd find something interesting in there. She probably would not find anything of interest in there, though, she decided. Maybe nothing worthy of noticing at all. Of course, here was no need to verbalize her suspicions in regards to the last of his intelligence yet.
Yet.
“I mean, you walked in on it yourself. Was it really necessary to ask what I was doing there? You even performed animal abuse as your first major action after showing up. I was evading when necessary. You nullified the immediate necessity. You claim to prevent the need from appearing again. We'll see about the validity of your claims, but I'm willing to tag along with you for that reason right now. And for food. But we've covered that. Dry and scratchy and hard things are annoying to eat, after all.”
Kimiko had not spoken much in recent months due to her slump. She had had little reason to socialize with her peers at the new school, as well. In a way, even though pretty much everything that came out of her mouth was sarcastic or otherwise deriding the boy that had come to help her, he was doing her a world of good by getting her socializing needs settled out in a short period. Otherwise, how else was diarrhea of the mouth to be relieved?
Her pace was slow and measured. She had no reason to rush just yet. And, frankly, after the running, dodging, and all that jazz, she had had too much physical fun for one night.

You know. Nothing odd. Nothing out of the ordinary. I mean, there's really nothing unusual I could have been doing, right?” He also found it amazing that the girl held a neutral expression throughout it all. He can't tell if she wasn't amused or if she was angry at him. Ether way he got the feeling that the girl did not think favorably of him.
“Of course, they might have been coming onto me." Ringo would like to point out that he doubted it was the case but Kimiko's piercing stare is sending alarm bells in Ringo's brain that is telling him to keep his mouth shut. "I can't say for sure, since I don't speak pecker or squelch. Maybe I should fix that someday, followed soon after by German.” Yup, very different from Ai...this was going to take alot of getting use to. He looked like he was about to comment but then retracted the statement. Considering the amount of sarcasm that was in her voice, he doubted Kimiko was serious…at least that’s what he hoped anyways.
“I mean, you walked in on it yourself. Was it really necessary to ask what I was doing there? You even performed animal abuse as your first major action after showing up. I was evading when necessary.” Ringo was about to say that the Shadows devoured human minds though he doubted that would nullify Kimiko’s accusations of him being an animal abuser. She has ye tto the see the stranger Shadows after all. “You nullified the immediate necessity. You claim to prevent the need from appearing again. We'll see about the validity of your claims, but I'm willing to tag along with you for that reason right now. And for food. But we've covered that. Dry and scratchy and hard things are annoying to eat, after all.” Ringo never found them those types of foods that annoying to eat but everyone is different after all.
“We should have some ice cream then…though sorbet would better fit want. If you don’t want either of those things I could always prepare something myself.” Ringo stated. “It is going to be a while till we get there though, I hope you do not mind.” Going by foot, from the station all the way to the dorms is definitely going to take awhile but not as far as it could be. He knew plenty about the routes and such here from this times at patrolling the dark hour.

“I don't mind if it takes a while. You have until morning. No strange detours, though. Or pickups of a dark nature from convenience stores.” Two casual jabs that would work only on males. Or gay females. And Kimiko did not blink as they escaped her mouth. To be fair, it could have been interpreted a bit more innocently, especially since her gaze was not focused on the red-headed hero-boy, but the path. She did not bother commenting on the boy's lack of confidence- or skill- in regards to the kitchen matter. Throwing out alternatives to preparing something oneself showed that they lacked either the skill to properly complete the issue or the self-confidence to test themselves. In either case, it did not bode well for her final judgment of the boy.
Her hands reached to her pockets, planting themselves firmly in the warm, familiar sockets of her pants. It really did not matter to her if she ate or not. She was just thrusting her issue on this boy, seeking to make him squirm. If she had to try to put it in words, it was probably that she was having withdrawals from bothering and torturing people. She was in a slump, but the effects of such an addiction were fairly simple- depression, lack of willpower, and the other typical symptoms of being estranged from her usual lifestyle. It was just a passing game. She doubted she'd be pleased, but it was the way the game went- place the pieces, move accordingly, and await that shining moment.
If she ended up breaking the game, breaking Ringo, then that was just one unfortunate side effect. It was not her fault that he could not mount up and overcome her trials. If he met her non-existent expectations, then it could be interesting. She didn't expect much from him, but she did of men, of people as a whole. Perhaps he could meet her standard?
“And what were you doing here, exactly?” She finally asked, not looking to the boy, though he was still within the edges of her vision. “You did ask me why I was there, even if it should have been obvious. So, what about you? Why are you wandering around the city, at night, with a weapon? Are you a naughty child? Perhaps a little gang member? You know, bad boys and girls get punished at some point. You'd do well to keep that in mind.” Her lips had curled into a somewhat twisted smile. She could amuse herself in this way until they arrived. By then, the boy would likely have no doubts as to which side of the spectrum he stood in regards to her.
So she hoped, anyway. Perhaps she'd get a feel for whether or not he was worth tailing, as well.

“And what were you doing here, exactly?” Kimiko asked. “You did ask me why I was there, even if it should have been obvious. So, what about you? Why are you wandering around the city, at night, with a weapon?" Thinking in Kimiko's point of view, she has a point. Ringo's own intentions weren't exactly clear when he's carrying around something that would get him arrested on sight if he were walking around with it in normal hours. " Are you a naughty child? Perhaps a little gang member? You know, bad boys and girls get punished at some point. You'd do well to keep that in mind." Ringo began to wonder why the smile on the girl's face is making him horribly uncomfortable.
"I'm out here to kill the Shadows." Ringo began. "They're clearly targeting human lives. I have the power to fight them so here I am. Patrolling and killing any Shadows that I see." Ringo started to walk "I just desire to keep people safe. That's all."

The response she received was half-unexpected, half-given. Hero-boy really did have the desires and whatnot ready to go. The issues were his brain, skill, and common sense. At the same time, it almost made him endearing. Like a little pet rat that learned how to avoid drowning through trial and error. It was cute, in a way, Kimiko conceded. On the other hand, she wanted to hit him for being such a painfully optimistic and naive kid. He thought he was being a hero of legend by killing little black monsters. The sad thing was that the monsters he killed acted on instinct, at best. No better than animals. In that way, her declaration of Ringo's acts being animal abuse were more than justified.
After all, the scariest, most monstrous of all living creatures. . . were human beings.
Her expression dulled. Her eyes focused on the path ahead. Her mind was split among the multiple pathways to take. Tease him. Torture him. Break him. Or leave him to live and learn on his own. The last would have been the most appropriate. He was a stranger. There was no need to get tied in with somebody else. Especially when they had their own brand of trouble. A quiet sigh escaped her lips when the conflicting view entered the picture. She was bored. Living at a standstill was doing nothing for her. Interacting with someone, even a sad excuse of a wannabe hero, would have been good for her mental and emotional health.
And she needed to get out of her slump if she were to ever be useful to her family again, she believed.
“You should aim for more than just Shadows, then. There are bigger, greater monsters out there, ones that feed on the helpless multiple times in a day. Maybe you're doing some sort of good as things are right now, but believe me when I say that the work you do right now is only fractionally effective in the protection of the common man. If you don't understand this, then protecting someone, saving someone for real, is well out of your reach right now, boy.” There was no hate, no animosity, in her voice. Actually, it could even be called gentle, despite the edge her words carried. Similar to the way an older girl would talk down to children.
In her eyes, Ringo was still a boy. The world needed innocence and purity, but a hero could have none of that. No, heroes were often just as stained, just as tainted, just as blackened as the monsters they slayed. They stared into the abyss, and they abyss stared back; they battled monsters and became monsters themselves. That was the path of heroes. Fiction, reality- it was all the same. Notes: That'd be fine. You'll be getting more Kimi-logues, either way.

Ringo can't help but to stop for a moment and looked at Kimiko with an arched brow of confusion. "There are bigger, greater monsters out there, ones that feed on the helpless multiple times in a day." It took him a slight moment but he thinks he got where she is coming from. She was talking about people. "Maybe you're doing some sort of good as things are right now, but believe me when I say that the work you do right now is only fractionally effective in the protection of the common man." Ringo wasn't exactly sure if what Kimiko said hold water since the common person can't exactly do much about the Dark Hour. "If you don't understand this, then protecting someone, saving someone for real, is well out of your reach right now, boy.” Ringo wanted to say something...but he can't. The fact that it was her image saying this was not helping matters. Ringo turned around and kept going.
"I'll...keep that in mind."
...
Ringo pushed open the doors of the dorm and allowed Kimiko through. He still held on to the chokuto blade as he looked around. It seemed no one else in SEES was back yet. He was going to have to discuss this with Kaitou later that was for sure. Ringo went over to the kitchen and started to dig through what they have. He took out an ice cream cup.
Ringo presented a spoon and the ice cream cup to Kimiko. He wondered if it qualified. It did fit the description she wanted though. Ringo himself sat down on one of the seats in the lounge, still keeping a steady hand on his Chokuto in case shadows decided to pay a visit.
"Is everything alright?" Ringo asked.

Once she found herself in a school dormitory, a few minor questions had been answered, like just how old the boy was. She had already suspected it, but his being a student in this region more than verified that he was, in fact, younger than her. That just urged her on to do more to him, say more to him. Breaking him and rebuilding him would be an act of affectionate oversight- it was her duty as a slightly older girl, after all. He delivered her to “safety”, certainly, but she still had to see exactly how he would follow up on his other promise.
And he did so in a manner that was less than satisfactorily. She had already decided he was still a boy, not a man, but that really drove the last nail into the coffin. Ice cream was dry. It needed to melt a bit before it was moist enough to avoid being problematic. Letting out a quiet breath, she set the cup and spoon to the side, intent on waiting it out. She had since begun sitting on the table, as opposed to a couch or chair.
And then the question came.
“I'm in a strange place with a strange boy with food that needs to melt slightly before I can eat it. Oh, and there are squirmy shadow-things outside. Everything is perfect.” She responded in a bright tone with an angelic smile. By that point, she did not even need to adopt a tone. Her sarcasm should have been readable just by her response. “More importantly, why are you holding onto your weapon when you're sitting? You'll damage the furniture. Actually, better yet, why are we sitting here? Are you planning on showing your new girlfriend, or conquest, to the rest of your dorm-buddies?”

Oh, and there are squirmy shadow-things outside. Everything is perfect.” This girl's bright smile is a gigantic contrast to her very sharp sarcasm. Come to think of it, that was a very foolish question to ask. She was in an unknown world and her only defense against mind devouring creatures is a stranger wielding a chokuto. Maybe Ringo should've asked a better question...or gotten something that more fit her needs.
“More importantly, why are you holding onto your weapon when you're sitting? You'll damage the furniture. Actually, better yet, why are we sitting here?" Ringo wanted to tell Kimiko that he was only taking a two second rest but what she said next caught Ringo off guard completely. "Are you planning on showing your new girlfriend, or conquest, to the rest of your dorm-buddies?” Ringo shot up from his chair, his face very red at the moment.
"N-no!!" Ringo quickly cleared his throat in an attempt to compose himself. "W-what I was trying to say that I only took a short break. B-besides I only known you for at most half an hour..." Ringo said, now getting closer to a state of recomposing himself. He quickly started to gaze out the window to see if any shadows were out. Now trying to take his mind off Kimiko's accusations.

Kimiko genuinely smiled at the reaction the boy gave to her question. It was somewhat cute. Quietly, she stretched out, letting her body shift backwards before she found herself laying across the table. Gravity was at fault here, not that it mattered. She took a breath in, closed her eyes, and relaxed before letting the air escape her lungs. That was enough play for the time being- enough of her verbally beating the boy around. It was time to focus on what was important. There were things outside. It seemed safe for the time being, and there was no one else around. It did not take a genius to determine that some, if not all, of the other residents in this dormitory were in on this situation- only a fool would keep their weapon out if someone uninvolved were around.
That meant the best time to get answers was while the two of them were alone.
“More importantly, how long is this going to last? What are the Shadows, exactly? Why are they impervious to my actions, but exceedingly vulnerable to yours?” They were three basic questions. Ringo could not have been a higher up. A higher up would be in charge of group operations and coordination, not acting solo and gallivanting around like a wannabe hero. “One at a time. No rush. Take a moment if you need to conjugate the wording. I'm a patient person.” Her words no longer had the same playful air that her teasing had, nor the sarcastic undertone that had persisted through almost all of their exchanges to that point. It was serious, but calm.
By that point, she had sat back up. Back straight and neck turned, she focused her gaze entirely on the boy. Would he squeal like a pig or clam up like a male prisoner in the showers? She had to wait to see before deciding how to proceed.

Ringo wanted to move her on to the sofa where it would be softer but he got the feeling that the girl wouldn't appreciate that...at all. This was still so surreal to Ringo. Granted his isn't one to judge by appearance but it was still odd someone in Ai's image acting like...that. Ringo took a breathe and was about to ask her to move on to the sofa but...
“More importantly, how long is this going to last?" Here come the questions. "What are the Shadows, exactly? Why are they impervious to my actions, but exceedingly vulnerable to yours?” That last question disturbed Ringo. Kimiko actually tried to harm the shadows. . “One at a time. No rush. Take a moment if you need to conjugate the wording. I'm a patient person.” Ringo might as well answer these questions. Not in intense detail but she did have a right to know the basics.
"The Dark Hour as this phenomenon is called lasts only an hour. It's been more than half an hour so it should end not too long." Ringo explained. "Shadows are creatures that exist in the Dark Hour and pray on humans. Also I learned how to hurt the shadows after fighting them for about two years." Ringo stated. He decide to alleviate any concerns with Kimiko. "...you tried hurting them?" Ringo added.
